Hello, I am Maria ! I hold a BA in English Literature with Spanish Language and Literature (University of Hertfordshire, UK), and a MA in English Literature(University of Warwick UK). I offer one-to-one tuition to students of all ages and backgrounds (classes for school and University students, adults and professionals)
Experience
I have had more than 15 years experience as an ESOL Teacher .Moreover, I have supported students with English Literacy as well as English and American exams preparation in Athens, Greece.I have also had training and extensive work experience with special learning difficulties (dyslexia ADHD, behavioural problems, Autistic spectrum) in the English educational system. In the period 2014-2017 I worked as a supply teacher and SEN Learning Support in West Midlands schools as well as a one-to one tutor in English, Spanish and Modern Greek in the area . I am currently teaching English as a Foreign Language and Spanish as a Foreign Language in Athens on a one-to-one basis and Modern Language Schools Skills and Qualifications TEFL Certificate (Level 2) BSL (Level 1) Team Teach Certificate I have attending the CPD courses : ''Caring for Vulnerable Children'' (University of Strathclyde, UK) , and I am currently attending the course ''Teaching for Success: Lessons and Teaching, The British Council, UK) as well as a variety of other CPD courses relevant to education and psychology
